Early 2023
The frustration that started it all
Two engineers at a Bangalore startup noticed every new hire — regardless of degree — took 4–6 months to become productive. They quit their jobs to fix the pipeline, not the symptom.

Mid 2023
First cohort — 12 students, kitchen table
The first Full-Stack batch ran over WhatsApp calls and shared Google Docs. 10 of the 12 students landed internships within 6 weeks of finishing. Word spread fast.

Late 2023
SovrenSkills v1 goes live
A proper platform, proper programs. First 5 tracks launched with mentor support. Partnered with 20 companies who agreed to fast-track SovrenSkills graduates through their hiring process.

2024
Crossed 5,000 students placed
Expanded to 8 programs, 312 hiring partners across India. Launched the Generative AI Engineering track — which became our fastest-growing program ever, filling up in under 48 hours.

2025 – 2026
12,000+ students. 96% placement. Still building.
SovrenSkills now trains students from 800+ colleges across India. Our placement rate holds at 96%. Batch 2026 is now open — and we're working on making the next version even better.
